المجلس والوكالة يطلقان تحضيرات برامجه في قبرص لتعزيز دور الشباب
INHR-IHRC Launches Preparations for Its Programs in Cyprus to Strengthen the Role of Youth
كلف الممثل الأعلى للشؤون الخارجية للمجلس الدولي لحقوق الإنسان IHRC المعتمد من الأمم المتحدة بصفة خاصة إيكوسوك ورئيس بعثته إلى جنيف الدكتور هيثم بو سعيد، الأستاذ أديب أسعد بمتابعة وضع اللمسات الأخيرة على البروتوكول المزمع توقيعه مع إحدى الهيئات في قبرص، تمهيداً لإطلاق البرامج المتعلقة بعمل الوكالة والمجلس هناك.
وأكد الدكتور بو سعيد أهمية استكمال هذه الخطوات ضمن رؤية عمل ترتكز على المبادئ الأساسية للمجلس والوكالة، بما يساهم في تطوير البرامج الحقوقية والإنسانية وتعزيز الشراكات الدولية.
وأشار إلى أن المرحلة المقبلة ستولي اهتماماً خاصاً بتفعيل الطاقات الشبابية وتمكينها من المشاركة في المبادرات الهادفة إلى نشر ثقافة حقوق الإنسان والسلام، لافتاً إلى أن هذا المسار سيترافق مع حدث خاص سيتم الإعلان عنه لاحقاً يتناول دور الشباب وأهميته في المرحلة المقبلة.
The High Representative for External Affairs of the International Human Rights Council (IHRC), accredited by the United Nations in a special capacity with ECOSOC, and Head of its Mission to Geneva, Dr. Haissam Bou-Said, assigned Professor Adeeb Asaad to follow up on the final preparations for the protocol set to be signed with one of the entities in Cyprus, in preparation for launching programs related to the work of the agency and the council there.
Dr. Bou-Said emphasized the importance of completing these steps within a framework of action based on the council’s and the agency’s core principles, contributing to the development of human rights and humanitarian programs and strengthening international partnerships.
He noted that the upcoming phase will place special focus on activating youth potential and empowering young people to participate in initiatives aimed at promoting a culture of human rights and peace. He added that this path will be accompanied by a special event to be announced later, addressing the role of youth and its importance in the coming stage.
