أعلن الممثل الأعلى للشؤون الخارجية للمجلس الدولي لحقوق الإنسان (IHRC)، المعتمد بصفة استشارية خاصة لدى المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي للأمم المتحدة (ECOSOC)، ورئيس بعثة المجلس إلى جنيف، الدكتور هيثم بو سعيد، عن بالغ شكره وتقديره لوزارة الداخلية في الإدارة السورية المؤقتة، ولوزير الداخلية الأستاذ أنس الخطب بعد تلقيه نسخة عن الشكوى المقدمة رسمياً، على متابعتهم واهتمامهم الجاد بقضية التهديدات التي تعرض لها من قبل بعض الأشخاص.
وأكد الدكتور بو سعيد أن الاختلاف في وجهات النظر بشأن بعض القضايا لا ينبغي أن يحول دون الإقرار بالجهود الصادقة والمسؤولة التي تُبذل في قضايا أخرى، مشددًا على أهمية ترسيخ ثقافة التعاون واحترام سيادة القانون بما يخدم العدالة ويعزز الاستقرار.
وفي ختام تصريحه، أعرب الدكتور بو سعيد عن أمله في أن تصل جميع الملفات والقضايا العالقة إلى خواتيم إيجابية وعادلة، بما يحقق تطلعات جميع المكونات المجتمعية السورية، ويسهم في ترسيخ الأمن والاستقرار واحترام حقوق الإنسان وسيادة القانون.
The High Representative for External Affairs of the International Human Rights Council (IHRC), accredited with Special Consultative Status to the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), and Head of the Council’s Mission to Geneva, Dr. Haissam Bou-Said, expressed his sincere appreciation to the Ministry of Interior of the Syrian Interim Administration and to the Minister of Interior, Mr. Anas Al-Khattab After receiving a copy of the officially submitted complaint, for their serious follow-up and attention regarding the threats directed against him by certain individuals.
Dr. Bou-Said stated that differences of opinion on some issues should never prevent recognition of genuine and responsible efforts made in other matters. He emphasized that respect for state institutions, adherence to the rule of law, and constructive cooperation among all parties are essential pillars for strengthening confidence and protecting human rights.
In concluding his statement, Dr. Bou-Said expressed his hope that all pending issues would reach fair and positive outcomes that satisfy all components of Syrian society, thereby contributing to greater security, stability, justice, and the rule of law.
