عقدت وحدة نموذج الأمم المتحدة (MUN) في وكالة الأنباء الدولية لحقوق الإنسان INHR التابعة للمجلس الدولي لحقوق الإنسان IHRC، في تمام الساعة الثالثة من عصر اليوم الأربعاء 19 آب/أغسطس 2026، اجتماعها الشهري، برئاسة رئيس الوحدة الدكتور باسل الحاج.
وحضر الاجتماع كل من الدكتورة ماجدة شعراني منلا، الدكتورة رويدا الزين، الأستاذ يحيى حداد، الأستاذة نعمات أكومة، والدكتور محمد سلطان، فيما اعتذر عدد من الأعضاء عن الحضور بسبب السفر أو الارتباطات المسبقة.
وناقش المجتمعون برنامج الأنشطة المقرر تنفيذها حتى نهاية عام 2026، إضافة إلى سبل تطوير برنامج نموذج الأمم المتحدة (MUN) وتعزيز حضوره في المؤسسات التعليمية والثقافية.
وتم الاتفاق على تنظيم ندوة تعريفية ببرنامج نموذج الأمم المتحدة خلال الأيام المقبلة في مدينة طرابلس، يحاضر فيها السفير الدكتور هيثم بو سعيد، وذلك بهدف التعريف بالبرنامج وأهدافه وآليات المشاركة فيه، وتشجيع المؤسسات التعليمية والثقافية على الانخراط في برامجه.
ومن المقرر أن توجه الدعوات إلى عدد من مسؤولي الجامعات والمدارس والمراكز الثقافية للمشاركة في الندوة.
وسيتم الإعلان لاحقاً عن مكان انعقاد الندوة وموعدها والتفاصيل التنظيمية، بعد استكمال التنسيق مع الدكتور هيثم بو سعيد.
The Model United Nations (MUN) Unit of the International News Agency for Human Rights (INHR), affiliated with the International Human Rights Council (IHRC), held its monthly meeting at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 19 August 2026, under the chairmanship of Dr. Bassel Al-Hajj, Head of the MUN Unit.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Majida Shaarani Manla, Dr. Roueida Al-Zein, Mr. Yahya Haddad, Ms. Neamat Akoumeh, and Dr. Mohammad Sultan. Other members were unable to attend due to travel or prior commitments.
The meeting discussed the Unit’s upcoming activities through the end of 2026, as well as ways to further develop the Model United Nations (MUN) Program and strengthen its presence within educational and cultural institutions.
The participants agreed to organize an introductory seminar on the Model United Nations Program in Tripoli in the coming days. The seminar will be delivered by H.E. Ambassador Dr. Haissam Bou-Said and will aim to introduce the program, its objectives, and its mechanisms, while encouraging educational and cultural institutions to engage with its activities.
Representatives of universities, schools, and cultural centers will be invited to attend the seminar.
The venue, date, and organizational details of the seminar will be announced at a later stage, following coordination with Dr. Haissam Bou-Said.
