Nomination of Mr. Mukasa Rashid to Establish the INHR–IHRC Chapter in the Republic of Uganda
ترشيح السيد موكاسا رشيد لتأسيس فرع الوكالة الدولية للأخبار وحقوق الإنسان (INHR–IHRC) في جمهورية أوغندا
The Media Officer, Mr. Mohamed Teama, on behalf of H.E. Dr. Haissam Bou-Said, High Representative for External Affairs and Chief Representative to the United Nations Office in Geneva accredited with UN ECOSOC Special Status, announced the nomination of Mr. Mukasa Rashid to establish and lead the Chapter of the International News Human Rights Agency (INHR–IHRC) in the Republic of Uganda.
Mr. Rashid, a prominent human rights activist, will proceed—following the approval of the headquarters—to form a team of 22 members who will join and contribute to the various working groups and committees of the organization within the country.
This initiative aims to strengthen the presence and coordination of the INHR–IHRC across Africa, reinforcing its mission to promote human rights, accountability, and humanitarian advocacy at both the national and regional levels.
أعلن محمد طعيمة، المسؤول الإعلامي باسم سعادة السفير الدكتور هيثم بو سعيد، الممثل الأعلى للشؤون الخارجية ورئيس بعثة المجلس الدولي لحقوق الإنسان لدى مكتب الأمم المتحدة في جنيف، عن ترشيح السيد موكاسا رشيد لتأسيس وقيادة فرع الوكالة الدولية للأخبار وحقوق الإنسان (INHR–IHRC) في جمهورية أوغندا.
ويُعدّ السيد رشيد من أبرز الناشطين في مجال حقوق الإنسان، وسيباشر – عقب نيل موافقة المقر الرئيسي – تشكيل هيئة تضم 22 عضواً للانضمام إلى فرق العمل واللجان التنفيذية التابعة للوكالة داخل البلاد.
ويأتي هذا القرار في إطار تعزيز الحضور الإقليمي للوكالة في القارة الإفريقية، ودعم رسالتها الهادفة إلى نشر ثقافة حقوق الإنسان، وترسيخ مبادئ العدالة، وتعزيز العمل الإنساني والحقوقي على المستويين الوطني والدولي.
