”كسحة” يستنكر الاعتداء على مدافن كنيسة الروم الأرثوذكس في طرابلس ويؤكد أولوية حماية السلم الأهلي
”Kasha” Condemns Attack on Greek Orthodox Church Cemetery in Tripoli and Stresses the Importance of Civil Peace
أعلن عضو المجلس التنفيذي في تركيا للمجلس الدولي لحقوق الإنسان IHRC المعتمد من الأمم المتحدة بصفة خاصة إيكوسوك مازن كسحة استنكاره الشديد للحادث المؤلم الذي وقع في منطقة القبة – طرابلس شمال لبنان، حيث تم الاعتداء على مدافن كنيسة الروم الأرثوذكس.
ورافق هذا الاستنكار زيارة قام بها النائب جميل عبود إلى الموقع، حيث أدان بدوره هذا الاعتداء بشدة، معتبراً أن المساس بالمقدسات ودور العبادة يشكل تهديداً مباشراً للسلم الأهلي وللقيم الإنسانية والوطنية الجامعة.
كما أصدرت دائرة الأوقاف في طرابلس وعدد من القيادات الدينية بيانات رسمية دانت هذا الفعل، داعية الأجهزة الأمنية إلى التحرك الفوري لكشف الجهات التي تقف وراء هذا العمل ومحاسبتها وفق الأصول القانونية.
وأكد السيد كسحة أن حرية الرأي والمعتقد تُعد من صلب حقوق الإنسان، وهي حقوق مصانة بموجب القوانين والمواثيق الدولية، مشدداً على ضرورة احترام الرأي الآخر والتنوع الديني والثقافي.
وأضاف أن حماية السلم الأهلي تبقى أولوية وطنية وإنسانية، وتتطلب تعاون الجميع لمنع أي محاولات لإثارة الفتن أو الاعتداء على الرموز الدينية والمجتمعية.
Mazen Kasha, Executive Council Member in Türkiye for the International Human Rights Council (IHRC), accredited by the United Nations ECOSOC with special consultative status, strongly condemned the painful incident that took place in the Qobbeh area of Tripoli, northern Lebanon, where graves at the Greek Orthodox Church cemetery were vandalized.
This condemnation coincided with a visit to the site by Deputy Jamil Abboud, who also strongly denounced the attack, stressing that any assault on religious sites and sacred places represents a direct threat to civil peace and to the shared human and national values of coexistence.
In addition, the Endowments Directorate in Tripoli, along with several religious leaders, issued official statements condemning the act and calling on security authorities to take immediate action to identify and prosecute those responsible.
Mr. Kasha affirmed that freedom of opinion and belief are fundamental human rights protected under international laws and conventions, emphasizing the necessity of respecting different opinions and religious diversity.
He further stressed that safeguarding civil peace remains a national and humanitarian priority, requiring collective efforts to prevent any attempts to incite division or target religious and social symbols.
