Dr. Haissam Bou-Said: Human Rights Cannot Be Selective… Humanity Has No Sectarian Identity
أكد الممثل الأعلى للشؤون الخارجية للمجلس الدولي لحقوق الإنسان IHRC المعتمد لدى الأمم المتحدة بصفة خاصة إيكوسوك ورئيس بعثته إلى جنيف، الدكتور هيثم بو سعيد، أن المجلس يدين بشكل قاطع أي اعتداء أو انتهاك يستهدف أي دولة أو جماعة أو مكوّن، أياً كانت الجهة أو الخلفيات السياسية التي تقف وراءه.
وأوضح الدكتور بو سعيد في مداخلة مع مدير وكالة الأنباء الدولية لحقوق الإنسان في الجزائر الأستاذ محمد آتشي، أن معيار حقوق الإنسان يجب أن يبقى واحداً وثابتاً، وأن العدالة لا يمكن أن تكون انتقائية أو مرتبطة بالهوية أو الاصطفافات السياسية.
وأشار إلى أنه كان يأمل صدور مواقف واضحة من الدول العربية والإسلامية تجاه ما وصفه بالانتهاكات والمجازر ضد الإنسانية المرتكبة من قبل الإدارة المؤقتة في دمشق، معتبراً أن صمت بعض الجهات أو تبني مواقف مزدوجة يطرح تساؤلات حول جدية الالتزام بمبادئ حقوق الإنسان.
وشدد الدكتور بو سعيد على أن “الإنسانية لا تتجزأ، ولا يمكن أن يكون لها لون أو هوية طائفية أو سياسية”، مؤكداً أن حماية المدنيين وصون الكرامة الإنسانية يجب أن تكون أولوية فوق أي اعتبار.
وختم بالقول إن استمرار دعم أي جهة متهمة بارتكاب انتهاكات خطيرة، دون مساءلة أو موقف واضح، قد يكرّس انطباعاً بوجود تحيز ضد الحق والعدالة، داعياً إلى مقاربة دولية تقوم على المحاسبة والمساواة في تطبيق معايير حقوق الإنسان.
The High Representative for External Affairs of the International Human Rights Council (IHRC), accredited in special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), and Head of its Geneva Mission, Dr. Haissam Bou-Said, affirmed that IHRC firmly condemns any attack or violation targeting any state, group, or community, regardless of the party responsible or its political background.
In a statement during an intervention with Mr. Mohamed Atchi, Director of the International News Agency for Human Rights in Algeria, Dr. Bou-Said stressed that the human rights standard must remain consistent, and that justice cannot be selective or influenced by political alignments or identities.
He stated that he had hoped for clear positions from Arab and Islamic countries regarding what he described as crimes against humanity and violations committed by the interim administration in Damascus, noting that silence or double standards weaken the credibility of international human rights principles.
Dr. Bou-Said emphasized that “humanity cannot be divided and cannot have a sectarian or political identity,” stressing that the protection of civilians and human dignity must remain above all considerations.
He concluded that continued support for any party accused of serious violations without accountability or a clear stance risks creating the perception of bias against justice and the rule of human rights, calling for an international approach based on equal standards and accountability.
