Over 2,000 nuclear tests have been carried out since 1945. Not one of them made the world safer.
Today, on the International Day against Nuclear Tests, let’s remember: the answer was never more testing. It’s the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty. The CTBT gives us the tools. 179 states have ratified it. Let’s finish the job.
