‎

‎The International News Agency for Human Rights (INHR), accredited by the International Human Rights Council (IHRC), announced the signing of two academic cooperation protocols with two universities, one Swiss and one British, during meetings held by the IHRC High Representative for Foreign Affairs during his recent visit to Milan, Italy.
‎
‎The signing of the two protocols forms part of INHR’s strategy to expand its academic and institutional presence internationally and to strengthen cooperation between specialized human rights media, universities, and higher education and research institutions.
‎
‎The new cooperation framework is expected to provide opportunities for the development of joint academic, training, and research programmes, as well as the organization of specialized seminars, lectures, workshops, and educational initiatives addressing international law, human rights, international relations, and human rights journalism.
‎
‎INHR emphasized that these partnerships will contribute to developing its role as an international platform connecting media, academic, and human rights work, while promoting knowledge, professional exchange, and dialogue on contemporary international human rights challenges.
‎
‎The protocols are also intended to establish a foundation for long-term cooperation with the partner academic institutions, including the exchange of expertise, knowledge, researchers, academics, and lecturers, as well as the development of joint international projects and educational initiatives.
‎
‎INHR further stated that this academic track will operate under the institutional sponsorship and framework of the International Human Rights Council (IHRC), which will serve as the institutional umbrella supporting and facilitating this work, while preserving the academic and professional character of the partnerships.
‎
‎The Agency described the signing of the two protocols as an important new step in the development of its international activities and as part of its broader commitment to expanding cooperation with universities, educational institutions, and research centres, thereby contributing to the advancement of human rights education and strengthening its connection with international standards and practices.
