في حفل رسمي رفيع المستوى أقيم في مقرها بدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، وبحضور ممثلين عن وكالة الأنباء الدولية لحقوق الإنسان (INHR)، أعلنت عن تعيين الدكتورة آية عبد الله مبعوثاً خاصاً للنوايا الحسنة للشؤون الإنسانية في جمهورية مصر العربية.
وتأتي هذه الخطوة الاستراتيجية في إطار توسيع نطاق عمل الوكالة وتعزيز حضورها الدبلوماسي والإنساني في المنطقة العربية، لا سيما في الملفات الحيوية المتعلقة بحقوق الإنسان والتنمية المستدامة.
وقد قام السيد منتظر عديل، المبعوث الخاص للنوايا الحسنة للشؤون الإنسانية في مصر (والذي كان يشغل المنصب قبل تولي الدكتورة آية له، أو هو من قام بمراسم التسليم)، بتسليم الدكتورة آية عبد الله شهادة الاعتماد الرسمية وبطاقة العضوية، معرباً عن ثقته الكبيرة في قدرتها على تقديم إضافة نوعية للعمل الإنساني في مصر.
وفي تصريح لها بهذه المناسبة، عبرت الدكتورة آية عبد الله عن فخرها واعتزازها بهذا التكليف الدولي، مؤكدة التزامها الكامل بأهداف ومبادئ الوكالة والمجلس، ومشددة على عزمها العمل بشكل وثيق مع كافة الشركاء في مصر لدعم المبادرات الإنسانية وتعزيز الوعي بحقوق الإنسان.
يُذكر أن الدكتورة آية عبد الله تتمتع بسجل حافل في المجالات الأكاديمية والإنسانية، مما يجعلها مؤهلة لقيادة هذه المهمة الدبلوماسية الهامة. وقد عكس الحفل الطابع الدولي للوكالة من خلال وجود شعاراتها المعتمدة عالمياً، والتي تؤكد على شعار “موثوقة، مستقلة، عالمية” (Credible, Independent, Global)، بالإضافة إلى حضور العلم اللبناني بجانب شعار الوكالة، مما يشير إلى الامتداد العربي والإقليمي لأنشطتها.
At a high-level official ceremony held at its headquarters in the United Arab Emirates, and attended by representatives of the International News Agency for Human Rights (INHR), the agency announced the appointment of Dr. Aya Abdallah as Special Goodwill Envoy for Humanitarian Affairs in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
This strategic move is part of the agency’s efforts to expand its scope of work and strengthen its diplomatic and humanitarian presence in the Arab region, particularly regarding vital issues concerning human rights and sustainable development.
Mr. Muntadhar Adeel, the Special Goodwill Envoy for Humanitarian Affairs in Egypt, presented Dr. Aya Abdallah with her official letter of accreditation and membership card. He expressed great confidence in her ability to make a significant, qualitative contribution to humanitarian work in Egypt.
In a statement marking the occasion, Dr. Aya Abdallah expressed her pride and honor regarding this international appointment.
